FrontBase Connection Help
RazorSQL does not ship with the FrontBase JDBC drivers. The driver needs to be downloaded
from FrontBase. The drivers are available via the "Download" section of the FrontBase site located
at the following:
http://www.frontbase.com/
The JDBC driver download from FrontBase is in tar format. This file needs to be extracted by a program that understands the tar format such as WinZip on Windows. Mac and Linux users should have untar capability built in to their systems.
After extracting the tar file, in the RazorSQL Add Connection Profile process, make sure to point to the jar file named the following: frontbasejdbc.jar
To connect to a FrontBase database, select the JDBC (FrontBase JDBC Driver) connection type from the connection type list. Enter the path to the downloaded FrontBase JDBC driver. Enter any login information if applicable, and then enter the host or ip address of the FrontBase server.
Enter the name of the FrontBase database in the Database Name field. If you are using the FrontBase option to password encrypt the database, enter the database password in the Database Password field.
