HSQLDB Rename Column
The RazorSQL alter table tool includes a Rename Column option for renaming an HSQLDB database table column. The rename column option allows the user to type in a new name for the column being renamed. The tool then generates and can execute the SQL to rename the column on the table.
Listed below is an example of the SQL generated by the HSQLDB Rename Column function:
ALTER TABLE PUBLIC.EMPLOYEE ALTER COLUMN SSN RENAME TO SSN_NEW
